Dulcisono invites all women, ages 16 and over, to audition for membership.

We hold open auditions after each of the first three rehearsals in September and January. Members need to have some choral experience or musical training and either some sight-reading ability or a very good ear. If you are interested in auditioning, we ask that you come to one of the first three rehearsals of the term, sing with us and then stay afterward for a brief audition with our music director and audition committee (the rehearsal will end early to allow time for the auditions). There is no need to reserve a spot, and no preparation is required. The audition consists of vocal exercises, tone matching, and some basic sight-reading, followed by having you sing a round with members of the committee. If you wish, you may bring a prepared solo (accompanist provided), but this is optional.

Dulcisono rehearses each Tuesday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:20 PM.
The fall season runs from the first or second Tuesday after Labour Day till the concert date.
The spring season runs from the first Tuesday after New Year's Day till the concert date.
